Child Safety

At SuperStars your child's safety is our number one priority! All of our coaches are CRB checked, First Aid trained and fully qualified to ensure that your child develops in a safe learning environment. Every child under the care of SuperStars is fully insured and we also undertake regular child safety audits to ensure that our health and safety policy is upheld.

Employment

Every member of staff employed by SuperStars has to undertake a thorough job application process to ensure that we only employ experienced, passionate coaches who have worked with children before. Character references are always requested prior to employment and a full enhanced CRB must be completed prior to working for SuperStars.

All coaches are required to attend a SuperStars Training Course where amongst other things, matters of health and safety and child protection policy are discussed to ensure that every member of the coaching team is fully briefed prior to working with children on a SuperStars course.

Holiday Courses

Prior to the commencement of each course a thorough examination of each venue is undertaken and a risk assessment of the venue is obtained to ensure that any potential danger is noted and safety measures are put in place.

On all of our holiday courses a child protection officer (normally the Head Coach) is appointed who is responsible for the well being of every child. A first aider is also staffed who is fully trained and is equipped with a First Aid Kit that meets government standards.

In order to ensure that parents are fully aware of exactly what is taking place on a SuperStars course every parent is issued with a Parent Pack. The Parent contains the Daily Planner, Contact Phone Numbers and other information about our goals and coaching philosophy.
