SuperStars set to launch in Liverpool

22/12/10

SuperStars, an award winning company that was founded in Cardiff, has chosen to open its third office in office in Liverpool as the company continues to roll out its services across the UK.

The new location will follow the same model of success that the company has achieved in south Wales and in the south west of England through establishing a series of successful holiday courses in the area, before diversifying into providing PPA cover in primary schools.

Andrew Satchwell, 29, has been appointed to  head up the Liverpool office, on his appointment, Andrew who has previously worked in California as the director of sports for the Diabetic Youth Foundation said: “I am looking forward to establishing SuperStars in Liverpool and raising awareness of the company’s offering in the north of England.  Undoubtedly my experience and knowledge of working with children will put me in good stead as I look to build the SuperStars brand further up north.

“We have already witnessed a demand for our services in local primary schools in the area and as we continue to educate children about sport many other schools will see the benefits of working with SuperStars.”

Established in 2005 as SportStars by budding entrepreneur James Taylor, 28, the company has recently rebranded as SuperStars to incorporate the company’s diverse offering including sports coaching, art and music lessons, afterschool clubs and holiday courses.

On the expansion, founder and managing director of SuperStars James Taylor said: “Since launching in Bristol earlier this year we have had tremendous success in the marketplace in the south West of England.

“As we continue to roll out our services across the UK, we are delighted to be able to be launching SuperStars in Liverpool. This is a resoundingly positive sign to our commitment and dedication in developing and spreading the benefits of sport to children across the UK.”
