Mr Taylor has been recognised as an award-winning young entrepreneur due to his business focus on people, planet and profit. His unique business model has a strong commercial foundation as well as a significant social and environmental impact.

The Future 100 Awards were first launched in 2008 to recognise and profile young entrepreneurs running successful businesses.

The Future 100 Awards recognises the success of young entrepreneurs aged 18-35 who demonstrate entrepreneurial flair and innovation in progressing a responsible business venture.

SuperStars is a child development company, which specialises in providing head teachers with a solution for covering PPA time, through structured PE, Music, Drama and art lessons, after school clubs and holiday courses. It is also perfect for parents who require constructive child care assistance.

Mr Taylor independently set up the business in 2005 with five contracts and five employees. His growing workforce, skilled in PE, arts, music and drama, now provide specialist classes for over 200 schools and 30,000 children per week.

Since the company’s inception, Mr Taylor has been rewarded with a number of accolades, including Wales’ Shell Livewire Young Entrepreneur of the Year, HSBC Start-up Stars, Daily Mail Enterprising Young Brit, and SuperStars was crowned the number one UK SME at the NatWest Start-up Awards.

He is also currently on the Welsh Government’s YES Panel to encourage entrepreneurship to young school children using his own experiences in developing business in the education sector.

James Taylor commented, “To be recognised by such a credible and aspirational awards scheme is a great achievement for me and SuperStars. Myself and my team dedicated team are continuing to buck the trend in a time of economic uncertainty and this year alone have experienced 115% growth.

“Our success is a result of pure hard work, innovation and strategic development; the business has evolved to meet client and market demands and, by using the same business model, we have opened new offices in Bristol, Hereford and Liverpool and have expanded our subject specialisms beyond sport to encompass art, drama and music.”

Founder of Striding Out and organiser of the Future100 awards, Heather Wilkinson, added, "The future of our world is in the hands of individuals who are committed to generating commercial and ethical returns.

“Challenging economic times can offer opportunities to question the way we operate as both a business community and a society. We have a history of profiling the 'Future 100' young entrepreneurs who are changing the face of everyday business and improving commerce's impact on the wider world."

The Future 100 Awards encourage and reward extraordinary vision, ethical business practice and social responsibility. They aim to showcase businesses that offer innovative and sustainable solutions to social problems.
