We’d love you to join us

We’re here to help every child develop a bright future. But we also help those who want to work with children develop their own bright futures.

If you’d like to further your career in education, would like some experience working in a school, or just love working with children, we can help.

We work in primary schools, in the main providing cover while teachers are on their PPA release time.

Through PE, drama, music and art we give children the opportunity to try something new, discover a new talent and develop lasting life skills. We work within the context of the wider curriculum and as part of each school’s wider staff team.

Since we started in 2005 we’ve grown consistently and are keen to continue to work with more schools and more children. So we always welcome applications from people who’d like to join us. We have opportunities for full and part-time work in primary schools across south Wales and the south west of England.

What we offer you

We’re an ambitious, positive and hardworking company. We work as one team, supporting each other to make sure we give children and schools the best possible service.

We’re a well-regarded company too. We consistently get outstanding feedback from schools, children and their parents. Of course, this is because of the outstanding quality of our staff.

So, if you do join us we’ll invest in your future. We’ll give you a competitive wage. Hands-on work experience. Full on-the-job support and training.

And we’ll give you opportunity to gain a nationally recognised, university level qualification, fully funded by us.

Everything you need to kickstart your career

“I couldn’t find a more determined and inspiring team. I get to work with my best friends every day! And there can’t be many people who can say they help 80,000 children every week develop a bright future.”

Lee Davies, our Key Accounts Manager, who joined us as a part-time holiday course coach

How we support you when you’re working in schools

We have a strong management team who are here to support you. So we’ll never give you a placement in a school and then just leave you to get on with it.

You’ll have regular supervision and from one of our staff development managers. This will include observations of your teaching with expert feedback. And they’re at the end the phone whenever you need them.

We also run masterclasses where subject specialists help each other develop their skills. This may be relevant to their specialism, e.g. art, or it may be relevant to a teaching skill such as behaviour management.

And we have a staff intranet where you’ll be able to access a wide range of support materials such as lesson plans and schemes of work.

Are you who we’re looking for?

The very best education depends on the very best staff. And working with children isn’t easy. It takes energy, enthusiasm, patience, empathy, care, determination, commitment, selflessness, planning, humour, teamwork and initiative. To name just some of the traits great teachers share.

So we’re looking for exceptional people. People with a breadth of experience who’ve perhaps done something extraordinary. People whose aspiration, initiative and positive and caring nature matches our own.

Are you?

  • Committed to helping every child develop a bright future
  • Skilled in one of our specialist areas: PE, drama, music and art
  • Skilled in either maths or English

And do you have?

  • Experience working with children
  • A degree or similar qualification in one of our specialist areas
  • A teaching qualification, either as a teaching assistant or QTS (including NQT)

You don’t have to be able to say yes to all the above to be right for us. But you do need to have a specialist skill and be absolutely committed to giving the best possible opportunities to children and the best possible service to schools.

If that’s you, apply now!
